Union Congregational Nursery School was started in 1968 by parents of Union Congregational Church as a weekday preschool. It has evolved since then, growing tenfold and now includes more than 130 families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
Since its founding in 1881, the Union Congregational Church (UCC) has sought to be an inclusive community where everyone is welcome. In keeping with its approach to life and faith, Union promotes the best of our liberal/progressive traditions, welcoming families of all religions, encouraging the awareness and respect of various cultures, and offering opportunities to be in touch with the essence of faith.
The Nursery School is an outreach of the church and encourages the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual development of each child.We believe we are a church without walls, practicing our faith in our daily lives – no matter where we are in life’s journey.
